Coleman William Logan, Jr. age 88, went to be with the Lord peacefully on August 29, 2023. Coleman was born in Salisbury, NC on June 21, 1035, to Coleman William Sr. and Jimmie Lee.
Coleman graduated from The Carver Eagle High School in 1953 where he was a member of the debate and football team.
After graduating from high school, Coleman moved to Cleveland, OH. He married Margaret Logan (deceased). Coleman had a successful career as a lead set-up for Eton Corporation and retired from Parker Hannifan. He later married Elizabeth Logan (deceased). Over the years he was involved in various business ventures. He was a great teacher and mentor to others.
Coleman enjoyed painting, going to the racetrack, watching football and was a lifelong Browns and Indians fan. Coleman was a fixer. He loved to work and valued being a protector.
Coleman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Logan; parents, Coleman William Logan Sr. and Jimmie Lee Freeman; brother, Jerry Logan; sisters, Gwendolyn Nevel, Althea Ledbetter, and Birdel Williams Neely.
Coleman is survived by his sisters: Katherine Logan and Delores Allen (WA). Children: daughters Kellie Logan and Nicole Logan; sons David Horton (Robyn), Chandler Logan, and Jakeeyan Logan Sr.; step-daughter Gina Hicks; step-son leonard Hicks; grandchildren Ra'Jour Horton, Ra'Janir Horton, D'Swan Horton, D'Vaunt Horton, Malik Jackson-Dyson, Blayke Thomas, Logan Thomas, Eden Moore, Chyna Logan, Bryson Mitchell, Jakeeyan Logan, Jr. Jakeenya Logan, and Jakell Logan. A host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A wake for Coleman will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment private will occur.
