Phyllis Faye Goodman, 76, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on March 11,2024. She was born in Warren, Ohio to Mildred and David Goodman, where she began the lifelong journey that has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
Phyllis was notable for the warmth, kindness, and care she spread as a mother, grandmother, friend, and educator. An avid walker, she loved to spend time outdoors and on adventures that took her around the world. Phyllis enjoyed reading, volunteering with the Cleveland Orchestra, sailing, and baking her famous brownies and banana muffins. She also delighted in indulging in her most favorite treat, ice cream.
Preceded in death by her husband Don Robiner, she is survived by her sons, Marc and Brian Roberts, their wives, Helen and Nicole; the two special highlights of her life, her grandchildren Sam and Izzy, and her brother Barney ( Ellen) Goodman. She also leaves behind her companion of may years, Ken Kabb.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 13 at 4PM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, OH.
Family will receive friends on WEDNESDAY FOLLOWING THE SERVICES UNTIL 8PM AND THURSDAY 4PM-7PM at 3094 Richmond Road, Beachwood.
For those wishing to remember Phyllis, the family requests donations be directed to the Jewish National Fund (www.jnf.org) and the Cleveland Public Library Foundation (https://cplfdn.org.) Please join us in remembering Phyllis for her light and love, which will all carry in our hearts forever. A private interment will be held at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Warren, Ohio.
