He was the beloved son of Cindy Datzman and Marty Friedman and cherished brother to Ori (Dylan Padgett), Aaron (Esther Seif) and Julia, dear nephew and cousin to many and much-loved companion to his cats Janis, Poppy and China Cat Sunflower.Born in Cleveland on March 13, 1987, Jordan spent his first five years in Cincinnati, then grew up in Beachwood, where he graduated from Gross Schechter Day School in 2001 and then went on to graduate from Beachwood High School in 2005. Throughout his life, Jordan cultivated many amazing and meaningful friends wherever he went, whether it was at music festivals and concerts, kayaking, e-biking, school, the many fine-dining restaurants where he worked, and anywhere else where he had the chance to meet people.
