Dear Vic,
We feel privileged to have connected with Ellen and you due to our shared interests in Israel, and Hebrew University’s collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic.  
We were taken by your warmth, generosity and humility.  To be included with your family at a Shabbat dinner was a testament to Ellen’s and your unique ability to reach out and be inclusive.
Needless to say, we are deeply saddened by Ellen’s passing.   The words delivered by the Cantor and Beverly truly embraced the essence of a life well lived.   Hopefully, this will provide comfort to you and your family in the days and years to come.


We met Ellen and Victor later in life when we began to spend our winters in the Condo Complex in Coronado, California. We quickly bonded and enjoyed many shared hours of fun with them. Ellen was a pure delight. We played Majongg every Wednesday and other happy occasions together. Ellen and Vic hosted a New Year's Eve Party every year and Ellen would think of new games we could play. I could go on and on. Ellen was a caring, charitable, beautiful woman. We send Victor and the family our sincerest condolences. We will miss Ellen very much. Even though we were already in our 70's when we met her, it felt like we had known her forever.                               Love, Sara and Ron Epstein

Dearest Vic and Family,
Norman and I were saddened to hear of Ellen’s passing.   We will cherish the memories we have of her.  She was exceptionally, kind and intelligent. 
I remember our meeting for the first time at your wonderful New Years Party.  Ellen’s jokes made everyone laugh and feel so warmly welcome.

Frani Shagrin and I (Myrna Gill) would like to share with Ellen’s family our love for her.  Frani and I were crazy active in ORT where Ellen was also active and quite the leader.  She always had time to ask about our personal life and ALWAYS had a compliment about our dedication and love for our volunteer work with Women’s American ORT.  There were 5000 members at the time we were working for ORT and taking care of our young children.  Ellen made it look so easy.  We followed her example and enjoyed our many years of volunteering for ORT and working with  Ellen!  Please accept our condolences for your loss.    

Ellen was a founding partner of Keller Williams Greater Cleveland.  She helped create one of the most successful Real Estate companies in Northeast Ohio.  She gave of herself in so many ways.  She worked tirelessly to help create and teach our training programs for many years.  Her enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication helped so many new Realtors start their careers and become successful.  She was a great partner and she will be missed.

Vic and family sorry for your loss. As a partner in our original franchise KWGC
now KWGM she gave us a touch of class. 
 She sacrificed her business to help grow ours. Very few like her in the real estate world. She will be missed. 

Vic and family, as you well know,  Ellen was one on the founding partners of our Keller Williams franchise in the Cleveland market and was totally involved in our planning, training and success, she will be greatly missed.


Ellen was always a sweet and caring soul. As co-founder of our company, Keller Williams Greater Metropolitan in Pepper Pike, Ellen was always very giving of her time and expertise in training new agents and passing on the legacy and history of the company. The KW family is grateful for her brave decision to help launch this company, and her contribution to the real estate industry as a whole.

Dear Vic and family,

I will always remember Ellen’s kindness.  She took us under her wing and made sure that we met other people when we were new to Coronado.   Her hospitality and friendship made us feel so welcome to our new home.  We have such fond memories of your New Year’s Eve parties and enjoyed going out to dinner with you both.  We will truly miss Ellen and her loving smile.  May your memories bring you peace.
