Deb and I met regularly for 14 years.  She was a real life fairy godmother and a role model for true kindness and compassion. I am a better person for knowing her.  I'm proud to have known her.  It was a privilege to work with her.  Her memory will always be a blessing to me and my family.  I will miss her.  My sincerest condolences to her family and friends during this time.

Debbie was love and loving.  The whole world lost an angel. I am devastated, so I can’t imagine what her family is going through. I send them my deepest sympathies and I can only hope that their memories will sustain them through this most difficult of times.  Please know that Debbie spoke of her family often and that you were the center of her life. I know that every person who knew her feels that same way.  We can only thank G-d for the gift he gave us when he created Debbie, and we were all blessed to have  known her. We will all miss her and we all loved her.

After my divorce I was such a mess.  Debbie helped me so much in my healing and was always there for me. I’m heartbroken to learn she has passed away. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. She truly was a remarkable woman and I’m so blessed to have known her. My sincere condolences to Debbie’s family and friends.

Miss Debbie was an amazing friend and therapist to me, helping me with my mental health and anxieties through the span of 6 years. She will always have a special place in my heart, and will never be forgotten. I always loved her, and always will.

I extend my condolences to the family. I loved Debbie. She was more than a counselor. She was a dear friend, who strengthened and enriched every area of my life. I am grateful for her and her wisdom and patience. She will be sorely missed. She touched my life and my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I wish I could have paid my respects to her. I only knew her briefly but she shared so much with me as a counselor and friend.  She was a tremendous blessing to me during a very difficult time.

I met Debbie in 1955 at temple consecration. We went to different schools but ran into each other over the years. She was kind and caring. I will miss her dearly. A huge loss. My deepest condolences. Judy Horvitz

My heart goes out to  Debbie's family at this time of their most difficult loss. The first time  I  met Debbie  was when her daughter, Jaimie, and I were teaching special needs students in Maryland.  Debbie had a loving and kind spirit.   She welcomed me as though we had known each other for years.  Debbie had a smile and laughter that lit up the room.  She will be missed by all who knew her. My mother, maureve goldhamer, and Debbie were quite close, as I was to Debbie as well, I referred her many clients, she never said no! She was so incredibly compassionate, caring, loving….. we went to continuing Ed together and always had a great time, I so enjoyed my time spent with my mom and Debbie, I’m so so saddened , condolences to her family, she is already very missed

Growing up my family and the Squires’ family were close friends. We often skated on the lake behind their house and then grilled dinner on many Sunday nights. My mother, Joan Adler, and Phyllis were very close for many years. Debbie  was always warm when we ran into each other .

The world has lost a kind soul.  I met Deborah back in the mid 80s.  we were friends and for a short time, I later worked with her professionally where she helped me deal with the loss of mutual friend. We eventually lost touch with each other, but I was fortunate to reconnect with her a few years ago and found that she was still that sweet, caring person (still with that infectious laugh) I knew her to be.  She will be missed.

My sister friend for 60+ years was extraordinary. Wise, kind, helpful without being asked, generous, hard-working, loving, and smart. She looked past all faults towards potential bringing out the best in everyone. She was my “first call,” my confidant, my dearest of dears, and if you knew her, she was all of those things to you as well. We said “4e&e” to each other at the end of a visit or a call. It means “forever and ever.” 4e&e, my treasured friend.

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Debbie.  She was a gift and a very special person to so many people throughout her life.  She loved her family and friends beyond words and was devoted to helping people with infinite compassion and guidance.  God will love having her back home.  After all, she is an angel and I, like so many others, loved her dearly.
