Roberta Jean Pruitt Lail

She was born April 5, 1931 to Ernest and Nellie Pruitt of South Pittsburg, TN. Roberta was best known to be a faithful servant of the Lord. She will always be remembered for her encouragement to others. She had a way to lift people up with her kind words and reached out to others with a helping hand. She retired after 35 years with Western Electric. She was active with her church family when her health allowed. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Advance NC.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Nellie Pruitt, husband Jesse Sherman Lail of 63 years, daughter Donna Lail and sister, Frances Pruitt Dixon.

She is survived by one son, Galen Lail, grandson Jason Lail (fiancée Leah Stewart), both of Winston Salem, one brother, James Pruitt of Graham, three sisters, Shirley Pruitt Williams and Cathy Pruitt Williams, both of Graham and Brenda (Bill) Baird of Greensboro.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19th, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Frank Vogler and Sons at 2849 Middlebrook Dr. in Clemmons, NC, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
