He was originally from Asheville, NC and graduated from Asheville High School in 2000. Tommy started college at Asheville-Buncombe Community College but left school soon after 9/11 to join the Navy. He spent four years in the military proudly serving our country as an airman. After his service, he spent many years working hard to provide and take care of his family. He was passionate about politics, music, electronics and space flight.
Mr Watt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reader Watt Sr, Emma and John Williams, and his lifelong friend, Christopher Garland. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Kay Plemmons Watt, and their 5 children, Carma Plemmons, Willow Garland, Brandon Watt, Trinity Watt, and Tara Watt. He is also survived by his parents, Reader Watt Jr and Anita Watt; his sister, Shanice Watt; and grandmother, Mary Watt; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tommy, we all love you very much and you will be greatly missed.
