Mary Cranfill Reavis

April 19, 1926 – December 5, 2011

Mary, 85, a loving wife, mama & memaw went to her Heavenly home on December 5, 2011. Mary was born in Yadkin County to Burgess M. & Carra Jester Cranfill. She was retired from Hanes Hosiery. Mary was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, George (Tom) Reavis, four brothers, Charlie, Early, Troy, Joe & one sister Lora Jester.

Surviving are her son, Ronald (Donna), daughter Becky Jessee of Advance, two granddaughters, Wendy Bayne (roger) & Sarah Jessee, 3 great-grandchildren Jessie & Jake Bayne & Ava Jessee. Mary is also survived by several nieces, nephews & in-laws.

Mary’s life will be celebrated at Frank Vogler & Sons, Reyolda Road Chapel, on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 7 PM with Pastor David Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Forsyth Memorial Park at 1 PM.
