Kenneth Charles Hawk

Mr. Hawk retired from Amp, Inc. after thirty three years as an engineer with over twenty six patents to his credit. He loved his family and his Lord, was a graduate of Penn State University School of Engineering, an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and enjoyed restoring cars and woodworking.

He was predeceased by his parents Guy William and Katherine Thelma (Schall) Hawk; and a daughter, Mary Katherine Hawk. Surviving family includes his wife of forty two years, Ruth Nan (Oberman) Hawk, Clemmons; son Michael K Hawk and his wife, Claudia of Houston, Texas; daughter Ann Elizabeth Hawk Harriss and her husband, Shane of Winston-Salem; grandson, and his pride and joy, Kenneth Charles Harriss; and sister Thelma White and her husband, Ray of Jupiter, Florida.

A funeral service, celebrating his life, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, at Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem 27104 (336-765-5544) with Dr. Guy Hipp officiating. Family and friends will visit at the church following the service of celebration.
