Jenell B. Poindexter, 89 of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 at the Hospice Home of the Piedmont. She was born September 4, 1928 in Florence, SC. She was preceded in death by her father; L.L. Branham, her mother; Dora Kidwell, step-mother; Lucille Branham, her husband; William B. Poindexter Sr., a son; William B. Poindexter Jr., a granddaughter; Kelly Barber, and a son-in-law; Gerald Barber. Surviving are two daughters; Shelby Bryant (Mike), and Gloria Barber, a daughter in law; JoAnn Poindexter, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. The family will receive friends at 1pm. A private family graveside service will follow.
