Geraldine Griffin Pinnix

Gerry was born in Forsyth County on April 30, 1937 to Cleveland and Virginia (Burgess) Griffin .She graduated from Mineral Springs High School. She worked for Davis Department Store for over twenty years. She was also employed by Hubbard Realty and The Shepherd Center.

Ms. Pinnix was a long time member of Ardmore Methodist Church. She enjoyed the beach, classical music and the hearing and telling of a good joke. One of her greatest passions was singing in the Choir with the Winston Salem Symphony, where she participated in the annual production of Handel's Messiah, missing only one performance in over twenty years to give birth to her daughter.

Ms. PInnix was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother Carl. She is survived by her daughter Robin Pinnix of St. Petersburg, Florida, sister, Gladys, brothers Dewey and Buck. In addition to family, Gerry will be missed by many close friends she accumulated over the years.
