William “Bill” Schmitz, 83, of Clearwater, passed away at home Feb. 18, 2012. Bill retired from Honeywell and served in the US Army. He was a man of faith and service; Eucharistic Minister and Past President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Light of Christ Catholic Church; and volunteered for the Literacy Guild. He is survived by his wife Delores of 59 years; 2 sons; Eric (Barbara) of Largo; Randy of Melbourne, FL; 4 daughters, Janice Brock (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL; Judy Miller of Anthony, FL; Terry Horn (Jim)of Baltimore, MD; Jennifer Griffin (Ken) of Clearwater, FL; a sister, Jerry Cunningham of Baltimore; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Suncoast Hospice.
