Our condolences to Bill’s Family and Friends of the passing of a wonderful friend,  l met Bill in 2004 the same year of my first trip to Ireland before i stay as a renter house guest. As i was going to be working in Rotterdam NY through the local Electrical Union was very excited for me to return and meet,  Became friends and friendship, we experienced Bill’s joining the Hibernian and his awards even was invited to the Gala Ball in his home town,  when  Bill & Lil moved to Fla. we kept in touch the going through not so good time and than meeting his new partner Letty, very saddened to a great friend and our friendship going to miss you very much my little friend. Bill O'Hanlon was a good friend.  Six years ago he transferred to the AOH Pinellas Division 2 Chapter.  He flew with me to the National Convention in Atlantic City, NJ in 2016.  He enjoyed the cultural dances our friends with LAOH Pinellas each year.  In 2019, he joined the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus of which I am also a member.

God Bless Bill you were a good man and I very kind. I remember spending time  in Riverdale with you and Patrick. 

We were shocked and saddened to hear about Billy's passing.  He and Letty are our neighbors in Florida.  He always had a smile and friendly greeting for us.  We loved seeing him taking care of the plants out front.  Our deepest sympathies to Letty and his family.  Heaven gained a special angel. 

Today I say goodbye to my stepfather. I remember the first time I met Bill when he and Mum visited us in Singapore more than 3 years ago. He was sunny, joyful and knew how to enjoy the moment. I recall vividly that he liked to sing and dance. When he hear music with frenetic rhythms and booming sounds, he can’t help but tapping his feet, bobbing his head and he would pull Mum in his arms and dance around the room while we were singing karaoke. Bill was also friendly and warm. He cared for the people around him. Especially, his love and affection for Mum. For many years they had shared every loving moment together. We couldn’t thank him enough for his unconditional love to Mum. Thank you for touching our hearts.

Bill may be in heaven now, but I know he is looking down at us with a big smile on his face saying, “Don’t grieve. Don’t grieve. Let’s celebrate my life and party!”

Billy is the kind of man who always put the needs of others before his own. He would donate several hours of his week helping people.

He had a tendency to be shy when we first met, but it didn't take long for him to open up. I always knew when my doorbell would ring around 5 pm, it was Billy bringing something his beloved wife had cooked to all his neighbors. When I asked him why, he'd simply reply "it makes me happy". 

The last time I spoke to Billy was the day before he became ill. Letty was telling him something before going somewhere with a friend. As she walked off, I asked "are you in trouble?" "No, just getting my honey to do list", he replied. "Are you going to do it?", I asked. His answer? "Nope, it's going in the honey didn't do pile" he said with a sheepish smile. THAT is the Billy we'll remember.

Billy's infectious smile, his big blue eyes, his kind heart and surprising wit will be our memory of him.

We all have a Guardian Angel now. Billy is doing the same thing he's always done, looking after everyone. Only now, he's doing it from heaven. 

My dad used to have a saying, "God threw away the mold when he made him/her". That is Billy. There will never be another like him.

We love you Billy! May you Rest in Peace.

Our condolences to Caitlin, Letty, Rich, Patrick and all Billy’s extended family and friends on your sad loss.  We will always remember fondly his visits to us in Castlemaine. May he rest in peace. 

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Letty,Caitlin,Richard, Patrick Eileen and all who mourn the passing of Billy. We have very  fond memories of the O'Hanlon visits to Ireland over the years  and on Billy's last trip we had some fun times .He was well able to enjoy the Irish  ""craic" and had a great turn of wit.I am sure  he has left you all a legacy of great family occasions and he was always  very proud of his roots. May Billy's gentle soul knowest in peace. 

We were deeply saddened to hear of Bills passing. Bill was a kind, caring and fun guy with a quick wit.
We’d planned to meet up with him and Letty in February but now it will be on the other side.

Sincere sympathy to Caithlin, Letty, Richard, Patrick, Eileen and extended family on the death of Billy R.I.P. 
We have great memories of his last visit to Ireland when we took him to a Cork Hurling match  and he got all dressed up in Red and White.  He loved his Irish roots  and more importantly Cork!!, and we loved him for that.
He is now joined with his Mam and Dad in their Heavenly home and I know he will guide you through this sad and difficult time.   Please know you will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days and months ahead.   May his gentle soul rest in peace.
