Tim was interested many things but he will be most remembered for his devotion to family and friends. Some of his outside interests were building and flying remote control airplanes and boating but he found his greatest delight in his motorcycles. He rode his Norton across the country to Washington State and had many other cross country adventures.
Tim was a kind and generous man, always available to his family and friends. He was a long time supporter of children through Child Fund. He loved his home - especially his garage where he worked his machining trade and spent many hours having a beer with his buddies.
He was a collector of many things but they had to be unique and of good “quality.”
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Betty Hughes; three sisters and their spouses, Lynda Anderson (Steve), Irene Kretschmar (Skip) and Cheryl Lamoureux (Ernie); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
Tim is predeceased by his father, Martin J. Hughes, Jr., his brother, Martin J. Hughes, III, his nephew, Keith Hughes, maternal grandparents, George and Myrtle Olmstead, paternal grandfather, Martin J. Hughes, Sr., and paternal grandmother, Ella Hudson.
A celebration gathering will be held on Saturday, February 20, from 12-3 at 401 Bedford Street, Oldsmar.
Tim, you are forever loved and we will see you in Heaven.
