Born in Maine, Suzanne lived all over the eastern seaboard before moving to St. Petersburg in 1960. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1963 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Florida State University in 1967. She later went on to pursue her Masters in Counseling from Pepperdine University in 1977, as well as Education Leadership later in life. Suzanne's career in education spanned from teaching elementary schools in Virginia to ending her career as the Principal in charge of Adult Education at Palm Harbor University Community School. She spent her early retirement years traveling to visit friends and family, while revisiting her old stomping grounds in North Carolina, Virginia, and New England.
Suzanne, the matriarch of the family, always made sure her family was well taken care of; from moving to Florida to help with her parents, to assisting family with financial and moral support. She was everyone's biggest cheerleader. She wanted success for all.
Suzanne is survived by her daughter Kimberly King, her son, Bradley Wester and her son-in-law Cortney King; siblings, Laura Lee Covington and Marcia Danaie; sister-in-law, Nancy Tysor; grandchildren, Lydia King, Aidan Wester, Tanner Wester, and Naomi King; as well as great-grandson, Owen Tello and her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Naomi Bransom.
