Yawn, Russell E., 85, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Winter Haven, Florida, died January 2, 2018, after a long illness. Mr. Yawn was predeceased by his parents, Carroll and Hazel Yawn, brother, Jack Yawn, sister, Caroline Huff, and longtime companion Thelma (Lucy) Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Maseda, son, Eric Yawn, daughter, Amy Hartigan (Matt), two wonderful grandchildren, Jared and Jadyn Maseda, and numerous nieces and nephews. Russell was born in Bartow, Florida, and graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1951. He went on to serve in the Navy during the Korean War, and then began his career in waster water treatment. Russell retired from the City of Tampa Water Department in 2000. He enjoyed attending his annual high school class reunions and frequent luncheons. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
