Mary Virginia Vaillancourt

Known as Ginny to her many friends and family,

she was born to Thomas J. and Mary Hines in Boston, MA on July 17, 1933.

She attended high school at Girls Latin School in Boston, MA graduating in 1951. She then attended Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing where she earned her RN degree. She later earned a degree in psychology from Emmanuel College in Boston.

Ginny spent her career as a kind, caring and dedicated nurse.

She married Raymond Vaillancourt in 1986 and moved to Osterville MA, while spending winters in Gulfport FL .

She enjoyed long walks, playing tennis, golfing and late afternoon sunsets at the beach with her children, grandchildren, and friends.

She enjoyed theatre and the arts and loved volunteering at the Mahaffey Theatre in St. Petersburg Fl .

She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas J. Hines and her husband Raymond D. Vaillancourt.

Virginia is survived by three children; Walter E. Carroll (Chip)of St. Petersburg FL, Thomas J. Carroll of Seminole Fl, and Nancy M. (Carroll) Geary of Ft. Lauderdale Fl, four grandchildren; Thomas J. Carroll Jr, Stephanie Carroll, Edward L. Geary Jr., and Lillian M. Geary, and one brother, Edward Hines of Harwichport, MA.
