Bradley, Florence (Flo) M. 1920-2016 95, of Clearwater, passed away September 13, 2016. Born in Newark, NJ, raised in Maplewood, NJ, to Benedict C. and Frieda Grassmann. She worked for two years in Herrington, KS at the Air Corp as a typist in the Sub Depot where the B29s were processed before they went overseas. After the end of the war and when the base closed, she worked at General Motors for 35 years. She retired as Secretary for the Material Director, Linden, NJ. She was an ardent craft worked especially in needlepoint and crochet, receiving two first place prizes- once with the State Federation of Women’s Clubs, and once with the Garden Club of Long Beach Island, NJ. The needlepoint was special as it was of the Blessed Mother holding the Infant Jesus. After moving to Florida, she joined “His Helping Hands” craft group at St. Luke’s Church in Palm Harbor and “Because We Care” Recycling all greeting cards at Regency Oaks where she lived. She leaves a niece, Joan M. Meyer of Whiting, NJ, and two nephews, Louis Minichino of Manchester, NJ and Robert Minichino of Martinsville, NJ. She also leaves her best friend, Beatrice Adshead & Barbara Rainey. A Mass will be said at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10AM. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. Donations may be sent to Florida Sheriff Youth Ranches, PO Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064.
