Eric David Vazquez, born August 20, 1983 from Tampa, FL, passed away June 4, 2018 with his beloved family by his side. He was the youngest of five siblings and is survived by his son, Ayden Kai Vazquez, mother and father, Brenda Courtney Vazquez, and Joseph M. Vazquez Jr., as well as two older brothers, Joseph M. Vazquez III, Richard M. Vazquez, and twin sisters, Gloria Marchese and Maria Valenti.
Eric was a gentle soul known for his extraordinary patience, kindness and his unique ability to get along with people from all walks of life. He was an exemplary father to his son Ayden, as well as his girlfriend, Jenna’s daughter, Giana. He was also an excellent provider to his family. When Eric wasn’t working as a chef, where he developed a passion for cooking, he was a very creative and able carpenter and handyman. His patience and love for his family and friends showed through with his deep commitment to their happiness and well-being.
As a son, Eric was dedicated to his mother, Brenda, who has spent the last 20 years suffering with ALS. His tireless efforts to bring comfort to his mother, sometimes seven days a week, shows the quality person and son, he was. His passing has provided us with an opportunity to realize just how many lives Eric has touched. The fact that Eric’s last selfless act is as an organ donor, is proof of his character and willingness to help other’s. His presence in our lives will forever be greatly missed!
