Eileen M Kaufman

Eileen was born to parents Howard Albert Weissinger and Mary Teresa Weissinger, on April 9, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She was unable to compete traditional high school as she was caring for her mother, but eventually was able to study at Tampa Medical College and graduated with honors.

Eileen worked as a Medical Assistant for many years and retired from The Masonic Home of Florida.

She enjoyed practicing her Catholic faith, spending quality time with her extensive family, singing karaoke, koffee klatch, shuffleboard and playing cards.

Eileen met Charles Frederick Kaufman in her teens. They were married on June 26, 1948 in North Carolina. Together they raised 4 children.

Eileen is survived by her four children, Eileen, Charles (Buddy), Vincent, and Connie. Her sisters, Dolores and Rita, two brothers, Vincent and William. Grandchildren, George, Vincent, Tammie, Buddy, Ryan, John, Vincent, Beth Ann, Billy, Charlie, Jesse, Michael, Nicholas and Andrew. And 19 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Katherine and Marie Patricia, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Eileen will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey - Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 200 78TH AVE NE, ST PETERSBURG, FL 33702. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759.
