Don was born in Ansonia, Ct. After the passing of his first wife, Arlene, Don and his daughter settled in Warwick, Rhode Island. Several years later, Don met and married Pat, a widow herself.
From Warwick, Rhode Island, Don and Pat made their way to sunny Florida, first as classic “snowbirds” escaping the New England winters, and then eventually making Florida their permanent home. They were blessed to share 34 happy years together, owning a business that catered to college stores across the country, working in the cruise industry and traveling the world.
Don is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Lauren Robbie, NJ, cousin Janice, FL, and Pat's children Paul Singarella, CA, Stephanie Wood, FL, Gail Connors, MA and Laura Rosenberger, OH, along with 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A private family celebration will be held in Don's memory. Donations can be made in his name to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the SunCoast Hospice of Palm Harbor, who took such loving care of him in his final hours.
