Barbara L Winkelmann

Barbara Winkelmann, 86 years old of Clearwater, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 pm on Monday, August 18 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1812 N. Highland Avenue, Clearwater, FL where she was an active member for 45 years. A reception in her honor will immediately follow the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Barbara Winkelmann was born on March 16, 1928. She was married to Richard Winkelmann for 35 years. Barbara retired from Precision Manufacturing in 1993 and continued to work in the medical field until November 2013. Working, volunteering and being around people made her happy and kept her young. She loved to travel the world and had the opportunity to visit several countries. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her smile was infectious, her laugh was hearty and her love was unconditional! Barbara is survived by her five children: Toni Winkelmann, Clearwater, FL, Richard Winkelmann, Jr. (Bobbie) Clearwater, FL, Troy Winkelmann (Suzanne), New London, NC, Michael Winkelmann, Nome, AK, and Lisa Stacy, Palm Harbor, FL, along with eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, Richard Burzese, Largo, FL, her companion of over 15 years, and her brother-in-law, Robert Bredin.
