Cugini, Anthony Jr. “Tony” 70, of Clearwater, passed away suddenly November 11, 2015. Born in Astoria, Queens, NY he gradudated from Long Island City High School in 1963. He was drafted in the Marines and did a tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1968. He started working for NY Telephone where he worked until he retired after 33 years in 2001. He met and married his wife in 1973 and they moved with the family to Florida in 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Tony, older sister, Carol Ann Maida and nephew, Stephen. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; sons, Gregory and Matthew (Courtney); sister, Barbara; brother, Robert; grandson, Carter; granddaughters, Berkley and VitaBella and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6-9pm Saturday, Nov. 21st and on Sunday Nov. 22nd from 11am until service time at 4pm all at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Lakeview Dialysis, where he made many friends or to the American Heart Association.
