Anne Marie Teresa Kelly Hodgson or AMTKH as her beloved husband George would handwrite on her presents each year under the Christmas tree, always including a box of Frango mints. A warm loving memory from a lady’s life which touched generations of family and friends alike. Anne passed away Monday June 30, 18 days before her wedding anniversary which she still celebrated remembering with joy of the love Anne shared with her husband George who passed away in 2002. 90 years of life, 51 years of happy marriage, younger sister, a daughter and son, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and much more are the statistics but cannot indescribably even come close to telling you about Anne, her life and how she changed the lives around her with her pure spirit and loving nature. Born in Chicago in 1924 to Dr. Raymond and Mary Kelly, she later moved to the Chicago suburb of Westchester to begin a family with her husband. Whether raising her children including teaching them how to walk, ride a bicycle, drive a car, to Divine Infant bake sales and dances, being the best among the Broadview Bowl women’s bowling league, Anne found the time and care for everyone. In 1983 Anne and George journeyed from Illinois to Florida discovering new friends from Largo to St. Pete and beyond, and also the Bucs and Rays. Anne enjoyed and loved every part of her life. Friends and family are invited to say goodbye to Anne at her funeral 10:00 AM, Monday July 7, 2014, St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1955 S. Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764.
