Ruthann R. Rose

Mrs. Rose was born January 10, 1944 in Clearfield, the daughter of Boyd and Helen (Michaels) Ross.

She was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School, class of 1961.

Mrs. Rose had worked as a secretary for the United States Navy and Kurtz Brothers.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Curwensville where she had been pianist and deaf interpreter.

Ruthann is survived by her daughter, Andrea D. Roberson and her husband Andy of Denver, CO and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert M. “Bob” Rose whom she married December 4, 1965 in Arlington, VA and who passed away August 18, 2017 and her sister, Dorothy J. Gallaher.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Zion Cemetery, Marron with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Curwensville, Susquehanna Ave. Ext., Curwensville, PA 16833.
