Paula M. Norris

Born on November 28, 1951 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Thomas M. Irwin Sr. and Helen (Hooven) Irwin. On April 10, 1983 she married Frank A. Norris, who survives.

Paula was a 1969 graduate of Philipsburg Osceola High School. She was protestant by faith.

She was employed by Kent Sportswear in Curwensville. She was the Vice President of Concerned Citizens against Boggs Township Landfill and an active member in the Clearfield County Bee Keepers Association. She enjoyed needle work and gardening.

Paula is survived by her husband and two sons: Frank T. Norris of Pittsburgh and Trent A. Norris of Clearfield; four brothers: Thomas Irwin Jr. of Philipsburg, Mark and his wife Colleen Irwin of West Decatur, Roy and his wife Jodie Irwin of Clearfield RD and Gregory and his wife Julie Irwin of Clearfield RD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Judy Demchak, step-son: Jeffery Alan Norris and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Paula will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Brother Chuck Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Stoneville Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday, August 6 at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., an additional hour of viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00am until the hour of service.
