Joseph Charles Spingola

Born February 14, 1946 in Clearfield, the son of Dominic J. and Elizabeth H. (Demma) Spingola.

He was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

Joseph had worked several years in Coal Stripping, Harbison Walker and retired from Walmart Super Center, Clearfield.

Mr. Spingola was a member of the Clearfield FOE 812.

Joseph is survived by six children; Sandra Luzier of Clearfield, Jody Spicher of Morrisdale, Joseph Spingola of Spring Valley, John Puit of Mahaffey, Michael Puit and his wife, Jeanette of Virginia and Thomas Graham of Latrobe, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three siblings; Ronald Spingola, Beverly Oswalt (Larry) and Raymond Spingola, all of Clearfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Karen (Graham) Spingola who passed away May 22, 2019.

A Celebration of Life Service held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 4:00 PM with Rev. John F. White officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, from 3:00 PM until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
