Joseph C. Pry

Mr. Pry was born July 29, 1981 in Clearfield, the son of Albert J. “Joe” and Patricia “Lori” (McBride) Pry.

He was a graduate of the Clearfield Area High School, class of 1999.

Mr. Pry had worked at Appalachian Wood and PennTelecom in Cranberry and was currently serving his internship in programing at Carnegie Mellon University.

He was Christian by Faith.

Mr. Pry was a United States Army Veteran having served in Afghanistan.

Joseph had many computer medical applications through Penn State published in various countries and states.

Mr. Pry is survived by his parents of Clearfield, a sister, Lori McCracken and her husband Mike of Curwensville, a brother, Jason Pry and his wife Anna of Sylva, NC and six nieces and three nephews; Kaitlyn, Michael, Megan and Kyle McCracken and Hayven, Gwendlynn, Delaney, Eion and Lydia Pry.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. Kenneth Pry officiating. Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post No. 6 and Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785 Honor Guard.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the hour of services.
