Ellen May Yeager

Born on September 24, 1939, she was the daughter of Franc1s and Jane (Lucas) Swales.

She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School and had been employed by G.C. Murphy, Clearfield as a secretary. She loved being with her family. She also loved Pirate baseball and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was an avid bowler.

On June 6th, she wed Robert Yeager in Mt. Joy Church.

She is survived by her niece, Stacy Bowman whom she loved and treated as a daughter, along with Stacy’s husband, Dennis, three grandchildren Cassidy, Morgan, and Brock Bowman, and three great-grandchildren, Cole and Layla Newsome and Asher Hunt. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers, Lorena Dixon, Elaine Rowles and her husband William, Robert Swales and his wife Adele, and Ralph Swales and his wife Carol, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister Eloise Swales.

Due to Ellen’s wishes, all services will be private. The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. will be handling Ellen’s services.
