Mrs. Little was born on July 20, 1938 in Manhattan, NY and raised in West New York, New Jersey.
Mrs. Little graduated from Memorial High School, West New York, New Jersey. She received a certificate from The Eastern School of Physicians Aid. She was a registered X Ray Technician for St. Mary’s Catholic Hospital, Hoboken, NY and the former Clearfield Hospital. She also worked for the Department of Labor & Industry for 20 years and also served as the SEIU State Representative & Vice President of the Central Labor Council. In her retirement, she worked for The Courier Express as a crime reporter.
On May 20, 1961, in Queens, NY she wed Leroy J. Little who preceded her in death on August 13, 2007. She is also preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Derin and an infant brother.
She is survived by four daughters, Laura Miller and her husband, Dan of State College, Karen Potts and her husband, Tim of Clearfield, Leah Pittman, Pensacola, FL, and Peggy Little, Berks County, six grandchildren, Evan Miller, Derin Miller, Steven McDole, Lauren Farrell and her husband, Scott, Tyler Pittman, Mary Righter Price and four great-grandchildren, Taylor Pittman, Lilah Farrell, Lolah Farrell, and Lucah Farrell and her companion, Nelson Provost.
Mrs. Little is also survived by three siblings, Jaqueline Bagheri and her husband, Ali, Newberry, OH, Michael Derin and his wife Linda, North Bergen, NJ, Anna Marie Diana, and her husband Salvatore, Beaver, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private, committal service will be held in St. Severin Cemetery, Drifting, PA.
