surgery on August 04, 2021, at Wake Med
in Raleigh, NC. She was born January 12, 1976.
at Cape Fear Valley Medical center in
Fayetteville, NC. She is the daughter of
Rick and Patty Downing.
Tanya was a hard worker and she became a
mother in 1996 and continued to be a
wonderful mother and worked continuously
to help provide a better life for her family.
Her first child Savannah
was born in September of 1996,
She married her husband Bryce
of 20 years September of 2000,
and had her son Bryson August of 2001.
Tanya also loved her adopted parents
Jane and David Hardee and her adopted
brothers Joseph and Christopher Jones
who cared for her deeply.
She was a woman who loved God, her
family, her boys ( Bryson Woodell,
Justin Long, Jaylen Oneal, and Justin Smith ),
however she had a love that that was fierce
and loyal for her beloved
husband Bryce Woodell, and children
Bryson Woodell, & Savannah Woodell.
She had a voice of an angel and could belt a
melody with the soul of a lion. She was very
loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Tanya was very giving, generous, and always
fought hard to be with her loved ones. She
battled her earthly woes for awhile until
JESUS called her home
Tanya loved to sing and her voice was
magnificient. Her favorite artist was Kid Rock
but her music taste was endless. She could sing
Wynonna Judd to Whitney Houston, there was
no genre that would back her down. She was
a SUPERSTAR.
Mama would of wanted me to send out
a special thank you to her Husband, Bryce
Woodell. Thank you for loving her,
cherishing her, protecting her, being there
for her, understanding her, and taking care of
her and being her very best friend.
You were the love of her life and she will
love you ALWAYS and FOREVER. She will
always be with you.
To her baby boy, Mr. Bryson Woodell, she
was so proud of the man you have grown
up to be. She loved you with her whole heart
and was the proudest mama. She knew
you would do great things and that you
are special, not only to her but to every person
you come in contact with. You are just like her,
she will always be with you and loves you more
than life itself. She will be your guardian angel
until its time to go home.
Tanya was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and she will be missed by many. Her legacy was to always love and forgive, not to be bitter or hateful, and to not hold grudges. She was strong, loyal, and would do anything she could to help. She was an angel on earth and now in heaven.
Until we meet again xoxo
ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
Her funeral service will be at Mclaurin Funeral home, 12830 US 70 BUS HWY W, CLAYTON , NC 27520 AT 12PM-2PM.
