Pauline "Penny" Allen Tress

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm at New Apostolic Church, 821 South New Hope Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.

She was born on July 3, 1942 in Cazenovia, New York to the late Claude Shaw Allen and the late Arthuretta Button Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Rochelle Lowery, and two brothers, Kenny Allen and Larry Allen.

Penny had been a medic in the United States Army, a housewife, EMT and owner/operator of her own restaurant. She enjoyed cooking and feeding people, country music and children.

She is survived by her husband, Gunter K. Tress; children Rodney Phillip Lowery, Glenda Carline Lowery Baer, Billy Joe Bowie, Jr., Wade Colton Bowie; stepdaughter, Martina Bruno; grandchildren, Britney Harvey, Cody Harvey, Nicole Lowery Masi, Jackson Lowery, Luke Baer, Harley Baer, Heather Baer, Hannah Baer, Maximillian Bruno and Antonia Bruno; and brother, Carlie Paddock.
