Pattie Faison Winfrey Myers

Pattie “Pat” Faison Winfrey Myers, 84, of Clayton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Pat was born on December 21, 1939, in Johnston County to the late John W. Faison and Ruth Holder Faison.

Pat worked for Stewarts Appliance and Gas Company in Clayton as a Secretary and Kerr Drugs/Eckerd Drugs in Clayton as a Front-End Store Clerk until her retirement. Her passion was her family and her cat, Hazel. She loved to read and do word search puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Pat is also preceded in death by her husbands, Ronald Lee Winfrey in 1975 and Joe Carroll Myers in 2021; her sisters, Estelle Ellis and Helen Ferrell; and two brothers, Odelle Faison and Leroy Faison.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Robin Englehart and her husband, Robert of Selma; sons, Ronald Winfrey, Jr., and James Winfrey both of Clayton; brother, John Faison, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Garner; grandchildren, Ashley Chears, Christopher Englehart, Julian Winfrey, Ryan Winfrey, Jayla Winfrey, Aren Winfrey, Andrew Winfrey, Sarah Cupo, Josie Bjorling, Jackson Bjorling, and Joel Bjorling; great grandchildren, Aniston, Greenly, Taytum, Ella, Gianna, Grayson, Asher, and Jack.

A memorial service celebrating Pat’s life will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
