Mrs. Marie Barbour Johnson, 85, of Clayton died Saturday, October 17, 2015 at her home. She was born May 25, 1930 in Johnston County, NC daughter of the late Willie and Emily Austin Barbour. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudolph Johnson.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 20 at 2:00 P.M. at Baptist Center Church, 2163 Ranch Road, Clayton with Pastor Ray Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by three children, Robin Lane Johnson and wife Kay, Kim Marie Johnson Standley and husband Joe and Emily Jill Johnson and husband Johnny, six grandchildren, Robin Chad Johnson and wife Carrie, Jody Lee Standley and wife Angela, Joseph Lane Standley, Brad Lane Johnson, Matthew Holden Johnson and Eric Austin Johnson, and five great grandchildren, Samuel John Standley, Jack Johnson Standley, William Joseph Standley, Luke Jody Standley and Jakob Lane Standley.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 19 from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton.
