Linda Lucille Taylor Parker

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, North Carolina with Reverend Eric Reece officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Mrs. Parker was born in Kinston, North Carolina on September 11, 1945 to the late Jesse James Taylor and the late Beatrice Virginia McCoy Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Leroy Parker, Jr.; grandchildren, Hope, Heather and Ben; sisters, Marjorie Lee and Thelma Coombs; and three infant siblings.

Mrs. Parker loved gardening, bingo and mostly her children and grandchildren, whom she thought hung the moon.

She is survived by her four daughters, Beverly and Eric Reece, Belinda and Doug Morse, Bridgette Parker, and Bonnie and Don Weger; nine grandchildren, Clarissa, Chelsea, Erin, Adrien, Jack, Josh, Caleb, Jesse and Ben; three great grandchildren, Ella, Andy and Ava; one brother, Jesse and Cathy Taylor; three sisters, Sarah Starughn, Brenda and Edward Earl Eubanks, and Hilda Smith; and her much loved nieces and nephews.
