Kellie met her beloved husband Andy Smith, at Western Hills High School in Cincinnati. They married in Aurora, Indiana in 1996 and later moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1999. They went on to have one biological daughter, Amber and one adopted daughter, Lily.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Kellie loved people. She made friends everywhere she went. Throughout Kellie's life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with all she came in contact with. She loved praise and worship and her church family. Kellie also had a heart for missions and loved being on the mission field, having been to Panama and Peru on several trips.
Kellie had a degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as a teacher for many years. After teaching she became a nanny for several children that she adored with all her heart and she enjoyed working at her church's preschool. She just loved children (and animals!).
Kellie is survived by a countless number of friends, her father, Donald Meadows; her mother, Rita Meadows; her sister, Donna Clark; her husband, Andy Smith and her children, Amber Smith and Lily Davis.
