Jessica Price, 39, was called home to Heaven on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born in Huntington, WV on June 22, 1982. Jessica is the beloved daughter of Larry D. Price and Susan J. Price. Although Jessica was born with a rare developmental disability, these challenges did not define her life or limit the love, joy, and the laughter she brought to those who knew her. Jessica loved Jesus, her Mom and Dad and had a special bond with her brothers Chad, Jonathan, Adam.
She loved her music, her many dogs (except Jock), loved Wendy’s hamburgers (plain with pickles only), loved the bookstore and loved life to the fullest. Jessica knew that she was special, and that Jesus loved her and had a purpose for her life. Her life was not without its challenges, but no matter the situation, Jessica had a way of being the glue that always brought and kept her family together. Even during this tragic loss, this continues to be the case. To those who knew her best, she will be missed dearly. Our hearts are broken but we rejoice in her new life knowing she is now God’s special angel.
Jessica is survived by her dad and mom, Larry D. and Susan J. Price of Clayton; brothers, Chad Price of Apex; Jonathan Price and wife, Kelly of Boynton Beach, FL, and Adam Price and wife, Amanda of Clayton; her grandfather, Gill Archambault of Milford NH, and countless friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins in WV, FL, and England all who loved her dearly. The Price family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the many acts of kindness, thoughts, and prayers during this very difficult time. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home.
