Gressy (GT) was born on December 3, 2016, in Raleigh, NC, to parents Thomas Jarman and Jessica Vaughn. He loved trains, airplanes, Peppa Pig, the movie Coco, playdough, playgrounds, slides, swings, pools, and the ocean which he called the “big pool with bubbles.” He loved to count, say his ABCs, and tell you he had a “booga.” He loved to cuddle and give kisses. He loved “pop” (popsicles), pizza, ribs, sausage, chips, and candy. He was a whiz on the mobile phone. And he loved to have “Bye Baby Bunting” and “Jesus Loves Me” sung to him at bedtime.
We lean into the love of our Savior and give thanks for the gift of our Gressy, for the joy he brought into our lives during his brief time here, and for the knowledge that his life will continue to bless others through organ donation.
Gressy (GT) is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jessica, and his sister, Madysun, all of Clayton, NC; his paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Georgia May of Frederick, MD; his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Sherry Vaughn of Charlotte, NC; his aunts and uncles: James and Jessica Keith (cousins Jacob, Leah, Hannah, Mary, Naomi) of Clayton, NC; Jeremy and Pamela Hooks (cousin Ford) of Raleigh, NC; Jason O’Neal (cousin Berkley) of Clayton, NC; Julie Pellegrino (Maverick and Dalton) of Clayton, NC; Daniel and Brandy Vaughn (cousins Maddox and Marley) of Belmont, NC; his beloved dogs, Lorenzo, Buster, Peppa; and his chickens.
