A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton, North Carolina with Reverend Warren H. Barfield, Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, North Carolina.
She was born in Johnston County on June 17, 1945 to the late Aaron Sealey and the late Eula Faison Sealey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dwight Capps in 1986; four brothers, Claude Sealey, Russell Sealey, James Sealey, David Sealey; and sister, Elsie Sealey Kirk.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Ray Capps; two sons, Garry Capps (Stephanie) and Barry Capps (Lara); grandchildren, Nicole, Madison, A.J., Storm and Chase; great grandchildren, Greyson, Alan, Joseph, and Waylon.
