Billy Gene McLamb, 75, of Garner, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Harnett County, Mr. McLamb was the son of the late BJ McLamb and Rebecca Irene Frost and Glen Frost. He proudly served his country in the US Army and US Navy from 1968 to his retirement in 1994.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jerome McLamb and sister Gwen Deal. He is survived by his wife, Karen Gregory McLamb, of Garner; his daughter Michelle Dodson and her husband Jeff; his son Jeffrey McLamb and his wife Kristin; his sister Wanda Johnson; and six beautiful grandchildren: Caitlin Dodson, Garrett Dodson, Kyleigh McLamb, Peyton McLamb, Kyndal McLamb, and Sydney McLamb.
A celebration of life will be held at 11AM on Friday, April 21st, at Broken Wing Fellowship, which is located at 1837 E Garner Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610.
Flowers may be delivered to the family at home.
