Bernice’s loving husband of 55 years Jacob (Jake) Klitenic, Jr., would like everyone to know:
“I married an angel, who made me feel good, loved and appreciated. She always brought out the best in me, made my days easier and my life sweeter in all ways. Our relationship was always a way to be happy. We loved being together. I’ll always miss her. I will pray for her every day of my life. She was my angel. She protected our family, always let us know what may be right or wrong. She thought of us over herself, in every way. She was definitely our angel! I will always love her dearly!”
Bernice loved her husband Jake Klitenic, Jr., with her entire being. Bernice was the most amazing wife, mother, friend, daughter, grandmother, cousin, aunt, and sister-in-law.
Bernice’s loving daughter, Melissa Klitenic, would like everyone to know:
“My mom was the most incredible, wonderful woman, full of unconditional love, support, empathy, grace, compassion and brilliance. She gave all her love and support tenfold to her family. She could make you laugh on a dime with her witty humor. She gave her whole self to make sure her family knew and felt her love and support. My wife, Elizabeth Le Duc, my dad, Jake Klitenic, Jr., and I loved her immensely!
My mom’s biggest passion was LOVE and FAMILY. She embodied God’s love and grace whole heartedly. She always showed up completely for all moments in life. She always put her family first.
Her actions in life spoke for her so her loved ones knew and felt her love!
She was a top-notch interior designer. Her ability to make any holiday and the day-to-day come alive would give Martha Stewart a run for her money. She loved Christmas and would make the entire house come to life like a winter wonderland with her decorations.
She had the astounding ability to make you feel love and humor in just the ordinary day-to-day actions and moments in life.
Her absolute favorite part of life was knowing her husband felt her love, along with her daughter and daughter-in-law and her family.
Her loving character spoke loudly in all her actions throughout her life.
Her aptitude for finance was unparallel, as well as her intelligence and LOVE!”
Bernice was preceded in death by her mother Naomi McAllister, her father Roland (MAK) McAllister, and her sisters Maxine, Beverly, and Laurie. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jacob Klitenic, Jr., her loving daughter Melissa Klitenic and her loving wife Elizabeth Le Duc and, her son Jacob Klitenic, III.
