RALEIGH – Becky Moss Jackson, age 88, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2021 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Mausoleum at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton with Pastor Gracie Hargis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Jackson was born January 9, 1933 in Nash County to the late Albert Moss and Annie Willy Moss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sampson Edward Jackson; son, Stacey Jackson; and sisters Della Hunt, Verona Lewis, and brother Herman Moss.
She retired from Southern Bell (BellSouth) with 39 years of service. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, gambling, and spending time with family and long time friends.
She is survived by her son Wayne Jackson (Robin); grandson Christopher, and 2 sisters, several nieces.
The family would like to thank her doctors, Dr. Robert Dawkins and Dr. John Marucheck and staffs with Duke Primary Care for all of her care in recent years.
