Adele Reyburn Durden, 80, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Adele was born in New York, NY on March 5, 1935 to the late Albert Tevis Reyburn and Constance Brewer. She was a longtime resident of Sharon and Middleboro, MA and Siler City, NC and owner of Happy Heart Stable. She had a love of horses and people, neither of which she would turn away. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Larason, Cynthia Yarmala, Deborah Fesel, Heather Ponte, Michele Ward, Melissa Phillips, Adele Crites, Alexander Durden, and Richard Durden; 26 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and sisters, Dr. Martha Scott and Francis Valaitis. In addition to her parents, Adele was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Brewer. A celebration of her life will be Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 1pm in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US HWY 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520. Arrangements by McLaurin Funeral Home.
