John Sales

John Alan Sales, 69, of Stoutsville passed away on March 17, 2023. He was born to the late Louis and Dessie (Black) Sales on November 16, 1953 in Ironton, Missouri. John married Ranay Smith on November 7, 1998. He was a veteran of the Army, and ended up with his dream job of driving a truck for Bell Logistics in Chillicothe. He loved his family most of all and he enjoyed fishing. He loved the Smokey Mountains where he and Ranay were married.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law Lawrence Smith.

He is survived by his wife Ranay; children, John, Jason, Angie, and bonus daughter Michelle; grandchildren, Mason (Michaela), Bailey (Garth), Anthony, Jayden, Deanne, Eli, and Ruthie; great-grandchildren, Carver, Emery, Thomas, Bennet, and Wrenley; siblings, Stephen (Ginger), Ronald (Josey), and Peggy (Perry); along with many friends and co-workers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 21, 2023 from Noon until 2pm at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio 43113. The funeral service will follow the visitation with Pastor John Sales officiating, interment to take place at Hitler Ludwig Cemetery, Circleville.
