Curtis Larry Conrad was born on April 27, 1940 to the late Carl Sr. and Catherine (Peters) Conrad. He was also proceeded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary Ellen; brothers Bud, Carl, Carter, Cecil, Claude and sisters, Marie Jackson, and Betty Titus.
Surviving are daughters Bridgette (Rocky) Duvall and Joyce (Scott) Marioth; loving grandchildren, Alisha (Tim) Zeimer, Natasha (Greg) Funk, Rachel (Nick) Maynard, PJ Thompson, Ashley (Chris) Shoup, and Nicholas (Emma) Poling who he loved and adored along with several great grandchildren, great granddogs, sisters in law Kathleen and Ethel Conrad, Bev (Ray) Lawhun, Cardyn Phalen and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was retired from Dupont, spent many of his younger years as a wrestler, wrestling promoter as well as time as a radio host in Waverly. In addition, he was a past member of Circleville city council and a member of the Masons.
Larry was truly one of a kind who saw the best in others and was always trying to make others smile. He always said how he was blessed but we are the ones blessed having known him.
He is finally reunited with Mary Ellen who he has been patiently waiting to be reunited with. We can all take comfort in knowing he is right by her side, which is where he wanted to be.
A visitation for Larry will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Circleville, 151 E. Main Street, Circleville, OH 43113, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
