Roger graduated from Cavite High School in Cavite City, P.I. and received a bachelor's degree in English and Psychology at the U.S. Army's Sergeant Major Academy in Fort Bliss, Texas.
On July 18, 1957 he married the love of his life, Dolores Aying. They were blessed with fifty-seven years of marriage and four children.
Roger proudly served in the United States Navy for 30 years. He was a Career Counselor and retired as a Command Master Chief. He additionally worked for the Department of the Navy (DOD) at Naval Station San Diego in their Accounting Department for 10 years until his second retirement.
Roger had a passion for his family; he loved his children, but he had a greater love for his grandchildren. He had a passion for art; drawing and painting. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing Ping-Pong.
Roger was predeceased by his wife, Dolores Talob on April 21, 2016 and his daughter-in-law, Rebecca Talob. He is survived by his children; Soledad "Sally" Boucree , Raymund Talob , Roger Talob and Daisy Talob. His son-in-laws, Paul Boucree and Jos Simonetti and daughter-in-law Dorie Talob. His legacy includes 8 grandchildren; James Boucree, Joseph "Joey" Boucree, Juliana Boucree, Daniel Talob, Andrew Talob, Shea Simonetti, Byron Aying and Erin Aying. He is also survived by siblings Alfred L. Talob and Dorothy Talob Miranda.
A Celebration of Life Service and Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, Serenity Chapel in Chula Vista. On Monday, March 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. a funeral mass will be celebrated in his honor at St. Charles Catholic Church in San Diego.
Interment with honors will follow at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego at 12:30 p.m.
