My condolences to the Fierro family. May he rest in peace.

We want to thank all of you for your prayers love and support while we endure the loss of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Johnny Fierro. 
Our lives will never be the same without him. We love and miss him more than words can express. Johnny was a very kind, loving and caring person that always wanted the best for everyone. 
Thank you to all who were at our side comforting us during our time of sorrow. We deeply appreciate all of the beautiful flowers and gifts. Thank you all who were able to be there for Johnny's services, it really meant a lot to us. We feel fortunate and blessed to have such a wonderful support system.

I hadn’t seen Johnny since boot camp when I was super surprised and happy to see him and Jimmy Banegas in some line behind me. It was probably the chow line. It was cool seeing his Navy photos. I wonder if the Reeves (DLG-24) was his ship as I was on the Jouett (DLG-29). Viewing the tribute video, it looks like he had a great life and family. I’m happy for him.

Johnny was a very good friend of mine.  We knew each other while going to school in Las Cruces.  He was one of a bunch of guys that use to hang out.  He was always fun to be around.  God bless him.  I will pray for him and his family.

Writing this has been very hard  because you watched me grow from being a little kid to me getting married  with that being said I can’t thank you enough for always opening your home to me and my family with arms wide open along with  a fresh cup of coffee warm food and always a place to stay .Thank you for not only standing by my side while I got married but for also letting us have our reception at the house  it meant the world to us and I’m forever grateful . I also  Can’t thank you enough for all the laughs and smiles and hugs you have given me  through the years and for always showing up and being there for me and my family  no matter what. you will forever have a special place in my heart until we meet again rest in heaven Johnny 

In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit.
The greatest moments in life are not concerned with selfish achievements but rather with the things we do for the people we love and esteem.
My tio was very old fashioned. He believed in having values and doing the right thing. He did everything with love and grace. Provided and was present for his family and friends. The best thing I can do for him as his niece is continue supporting his legacy and showing love in his honor!! I love you tio!! You will be greatly missed!!

You are in our prayers that God will comfort you and the whole family during this hard and sad time. Johnny was a good friend and and some good memories.

I Recall The Time When Johnny First Began Coming To EDD On Industrial Blvd  In Chula Vista While Searching For Employment.  As a Vet. Rep , I Had The Pleasure Of Interviewing Him On Several  Occasions And Was Impressed By His Positive Upbeat Attitude.  As Time Passed  I began To Know Johnny Better And At Times We Shared A Couple Of "Sea Stories " Among Other Things. His Pride In His 55 Chevy Was Obvious. He Eventually Became Employed By EDD And Was An Asset To The Department. He Will Be Missed At The EDD Retiree Quarterly Luncheons. 

 I Salute You Johnny And Some Day We Shall Meet Again Aboard That Majestic Heavenly Ship In The Sky.  I Wish You God Speed.
