Thomas "T.J." Jacob Burgess was born to Thomas and Ruth Burgess on May 1, 1934 in Oklahoma and passed away on February 17, 2016 in Madera, California at the age of 81 years. Thomas was a resident of Chowchilla for 15 years, and worked as a truck driver for 53 years.
Thomas was preceded in death by 1 grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy Burgess; son, Michael Burgess; daughters, Laurie Carle, Peggy Burgess, and Terry Macky; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel.
