Laura was a beloved wife for over 35 years, her life was her family and friends. She was the most kind hearted and loving person.
She worked at different schools and convalescent homes as a cook. Laura was very active in her church.
Her hobbies in life was sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She made hundreds of quilts, then she would crochet matching hats and scarfs and donate to the Cancer Society.
But more than anything besides her family, Laura's passion in life was playing Bingo.
Laura is survived by her son Timmy Clubb; and her daughter Stacey Vargas; her brother Larry Capps, of Washington, her brother Floyd Capps of Chowchilla, her sister Rachel Miller, of Weaverville, her sister Lottie (Capps) Nusselli, of Arkana, and her sister Pearl (Capps) Stroup of Arkansas; Laura also leaves behind her her best friend Teresa and husband Jim Molone.
Laura was preceded in death by her Beloved Husband Timmy Oxford; daughter Christy Hooper and her son Johnny Hooper; her father Monroe Capps and her mother Juanita (Bass) Capps; her brother Boyd Capps; her sister Judith Capps and her sister Ruth (Capps) Lucero.
Laura also leaves behind 5 Grandchildren Anahi, Clausette, Declan, Claire, and Wendy, and lots of family including nieces and nephews.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life Service for Laura when family and weather permitting.
