Evelyn Christine Mitchell

Evelyn Cooper Mitchell was born on May 31, 1925 in Baley Texas and passed away on June 21, 2017 at the age of 92. She was a resident of Chowchilla California for 30 years. Evelyn worked in customer service for the phone company in Merced before retiring. She was a member of the Chowchilla First Assembly of God in Chowchilla, California. She is preceded in death by her parents Ezra and Florence Washurn of Texas, husband Homer Mitchell, sons Delbert and Jerry Hinsley, stepsons Robert, G.W., and Cecil Perry, Ronnie, Kenneth, and Charles Mitchell and stepdaughter Maxine Perry-Hamilton.

Evelyn is survived by sons Jim and Doug Hinsley, daughters Cheryl Hinsley Embry, Susan Lyne. Stepsons Albert Perry and Ray Mitchell. Stepdaughters Peggy Perry Benard, Betty Mitchell Calahan and Dorothy Mitchell Hoglen-George. Also a total of over 200 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren. One surviving sister Dessie North of Colorado. There will be a visitation for Evelyn on June 29, 2017 between 3p.m. and 7p.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel Chowchilla, California. Services will be held on June 30, 2017 at 10a.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, Chowchilla, California
